Not your typical read but really good. I am hoping maybe a part two or at least a spin off for Nat or Em. Who is Diggy jr mother....why is the little half sister filled with so much hat.
Great story line. Love will make you accept some crazy things, but is that really love. Take this wild ride ride with a young lady that goes from tragedy to triumph.
This was indeed a good book. Baptiste was the man and he didn't take no mess from no one family or not. Alayjah went thru it with Diggy. He was a coward and deserved everything coming to his crackhead woman beating tail. And Jane was a poor excuse of a mother cuz she allowed him to treat Alayjah in such a way as if it was ok. Now she's about to meet Alajah newfound friend Gripper. Emone was a good friend i love her character and she had Alayjah's back no matter what. I don't see why she and Sam was faking the funk.
This book was so good. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Alayjah, endured so much at the hands of Diggy. He was a self-controlling coward and abused that deserved everything he got. And Jane his mother was just as bad cause she went along with everything he did to Alayjah. Now, she getting the same fate as her son meeting Gripper Alahjah new friend. I so loved Baptiste and he's exactly what Alayjah needed. They definitely needed each other and I love the way their love blossomed into a beautiful love story. Really loved Emone and Alayjah sisterhood, everyone needs a friend like her. Only drawback is I would've liked to know what happened to Alayjah mother. And seemed like it ended abruptly. Overall, a good read and I'd recommend it. Good job Candi B.
This author’s writing style is truly amazing. I loved how the story played out. Jabari/Baptise in the beginning I couldn’t stand him and once his other side was introduced I understood and then fell in love. I love how baby girl was a fighter and survivor. It was refreshing to read a story that held a different substance I couldn’t predict what came next and I loved that. I would have given this book five stars if it didn’t have so many errors. I highly recommend that the author look into an editor because the errors almost takes from her talent. Nonetheless, the story line held my attention until the end I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Man I love me some Baptiste. He was the man for sure. He had never thought of love until meeting Alajah. They needed each other and what a beautiful love story. Diggy man I wanted to jump through this book for him. He was pure evil and Mom was no better. Emone is a friend everyone should have. I adored everything about this book. Good job
I enjoyed this book not so much in the beginning. But when Lay left Right and got with Baptiste it was on. I loved try way they took care of each other and how he told her everyday that she was beautiful. And Emone was the best friend from heaven cause she always had Lay back. Great job
