This is an adorable book! Each page is a watercolor painting pretty enough to hang on the wall! The pictures are so bright and the glowing colors jump off the page which draws little eyes to the animals and letters. It’s been a great, fun book for the kindergarten group of readers to enjoy learning the sight and sounds of the letters. It’s packed with teachable stuff beyond the alphabet including colors, insects, animals, shapes, numbers and more. It’s a very large book too and the final facing pages show the entire alphabet. This is an outstanding brilliant book and I plan to get the series set, too!

These are great books. there are three total - Counting Cockatoos, Alligator Alphabet and Octopus Opposites. If you can only buy one go with Octopus Opposites it is our favorite by a landslide!

My almost two year old daughter loves this book as well as Counting Cockatoos and Octopus Opposites. She knows almost all the animals and "reads" the book to me sometimes. My husband and I really like the illustrations in these books.

Nice bright colors in this book. I bought this for my nephew, who seems to enjoy it. You can never have enough alphabet books, in my opinion!

Special book with the wooden aligator.

It's a cute book with interesting drawings but there are some strange animals they use for certain letters. It makes for an interesting read as you try to come up with sounds for animals you've never heard of.

Great book for learning to identify the letters

I love this book and the pictures in it! A few of the letters they picked some very odd animals for but overall it is colorful and fun.
